Case Study – In-House Mold Building Feedthrough Guides for Government Research
This long-time customer awarded Klann Plastics a large project, requiring 3 new molds with a tight deadline. Since the project was being funded by Federal grants, all tooling had to be built in the U.S. Klann sub-contracted two of the molds to domestic mold-making partners and elected to build the third mold in-house. All tool design was done by our Mold Designer and the insert parts were molded to very close tolerances on our vertical molding machines.
