Xenoy Knob Assembly for the Fluid Distribution Industry

This was our first project for this customer, who manufactures fluid control valves, actuators and other products. Our personnel from every department contributed to the success of the project, showcasing the ability of Klann Plastics to assist a customer in all steps of development—design, engineering, production and assembly.

In the beginning, Klann engineers reviewed the customer’s product design, and provided suggestions to improve moldability and assembly. After the mold design was finalized, Klann closely supervised the mold build by a domestic tooling partner. Sample parts were run at our molding facility.

On a continuing basis, Klann injection molds 3 parts in 2 colors required for different assembly options. Labels are molded with raised lettering and pad printed.. We assemble and ultrasonically weld the molded parts along with OEM components in various configurations.

We maintain a KanBan inventory management system for this customer, and deliver a complete product, ready-to-use, on a just-in-time basis.
