Connector Module

One of our customers, for instance,
asked us to provide tooling and manufacturing support
for a new surgical instrument. Klann built a precision
four cavity mold in-house for this insert molded product,
and has continued to manage the entire production process.

Turn
key medical product
|
We
start by molding a plastic handle around a stainless
surgical blade (we're very careful) in a Class 10,000
rated clean room. After molding, the part is inserted
in a Tyvek pouch, which is hermetically sealed, imprinted
with a sterility code, counted and packaged in a consumer-ready
carton. Klann maintains adequate inventory levels in
house, and when released, ships the finished product
to the customer's approved sterilizer for gamma sterilization.
After sterilization, the product is shipped to our customer
for sale.
Klann
also manages the entire Bioburden Test Plan for our
customer on this product, including selecting samples,
submission to the approved Lab, and documentation.
